The Profile
Aceh Scientific Institute (Lembaga Ilmiah Aceh) is an independent institution that focuses on research, scientific publications, and community empowerment based in Aceh, Indonesia. The institute serves as a platform for academic collaboration and scientific innovation by integrating the fields of education, social sciences, humanities, economics, science, and technology. In addition, Aceh Scientific Institute plays an important role in strengthening community empowerment through non-formal education, training, and the development of creative community enterprises. With a spirit of openness and collaboration, the Aceh Scientific Institute is committed to becoming a scientific reference center and a platform for scholarly publications that foster new ideas, solutions, and innovations beneficial at the local, national, and international levels.

We provide open-access, peer-reviewed scientific publications for researchers, students, academics, and independent scholars around the world. Our goal is to facilitate the broad dissemination of the latest research findings across various disciplines, including education, social sciences, humanities, economics, science, engineering, and technology.

Our Mission

1. To conduct research and scientific studies in various fields relevant to societal needs.

2. To develop quality, inclusive formal and non-formal education that strengthens character and competence.

3. To organize training, seminars, workshops, and scientific conferences to support human resource capacity building.

4. To promote the publication of scholarly works, books, journals, and other media as a means of disseminating knowledge.

5. To foster the development of community-based creative economic enterprises through scientific, technological, and sustainable empowerment approaches.

6. To establish cooperation with educational institutions, research bodies, government agencies, businesses, and local as well as international communities.

Our Objectives 
The objectives of the Aceh Scientific Institute are as follows:

1. To conduct research in the fields of education, social sciences, humanities, economics, science, technology, and other disciplines.

2. To provide education programs such as TPA, TPQ, Kindergarten, Early Childhood Education, Community Learning Centers (PKBM), courses, and tutoring for students, teachers, lecturers, and the wider community.

3. To organize training, research, seminars, and workshops in various scientific fields as needed.

4. To provide academic, scientific, and other consultations for students, teachers, lecturers, and the general public.

5. To initiate and develop community-based creative economic enterprises.

6. To publish books.

7. To publish magazines, journals, and newspapers.

8. To conduct publishing and printing activities in various forms, including advertising, visual arts, performing arts, television and radio broadcasting, communication, politics, as well as broad-based community empowerment programs.

Main Activities
To achieve its vision, mission, and objectives, the Aceh Scientific Institute carries out various activities, including:

1. Research and Scientific Publications
   a) Multidisciplinary research in education, social sciences, humanities, economics, science, and technology.
   b) Publication of research findings in the form of scientific journals, books, magazines, and popular media.

2. Education and Training
   a) Implementation of TPA, TPQ, Kindergarten, Early Childhood Education, Community Learning Centers (PKBM), courses, and tutoring programs.
   b) Training to enhance the competencies of teachers, lecturers, students, and the general public.

3. Seminars, Workshops, and Scientific Conferences
   a) Forums for discussion and exchange of scientific ideas.
   b) Conferences at local, national, and international levels.

4. Academic and Scientific Consultation
   a) Academic and scientific advisory services for students, teachers, lecturers, and the general public.

5. Community Service and Empowerment
   a) Community capacity-building programs based on research and technology.
   b) Development of creative and innovative community enterprises.

6. Creative and Media Activities
   a) Publication of books, magazines, and scientific journals.
   b) Production of creative media, performing arts, advertising, as well as television and radio broadcasting.

Currently, we publish six international journals that cover multidisciplinary fields. Each journal is designed to increase accessibility, visibility, and global reach ensuring that scientific knowledge is distributed equitably and contributes meaningfully to scholarly advancement.

All published articles under Aceh Scientific Institute are licensed under the a Creative Commons Attribution- 4.0 International Public License (CC - BY 4.0). In addition, all content is securely archived through the LOCKSS system, ensuring long-term digital preservation and permanent accessibility.
